Veiled Memories, 2022
Participatory Installation
Photographic Emulsion, Water, Glass Vials, Light Table, Stools
25” x 64” x 74”

Photographic emulsion is suspended in glass vials and arranged on a light table scaled to a child's height. Visitors are invited to hold and manipulate the vials. The images are fragile and subject to reinterpretation, shaped by the fragments revealed and the environment around them. Over six months, the emulsion fades and disintegrates. The ephemeral lives of the images mirror our own temporality, each vial becoming a tangible trace of a past memory.
